Antique Chinoiserie Tilt-Top Occasional Table

A striking antique Chinoiserie occasional table featuring a circular tilt-top decorated with an intricate oriental landscape scene. Beautifully painted with pagodas, figures, trees, and waterside settings against a dark lacquered ground, this elegant piece captures the timeless appeal of Chinoiserie design.

The practical tilt-top mechanism allows the table to be folded vertically when not in use, making it both decorative and space-efficient. Raised on a turned column and tripod base, the table combines functionality with distinctive period character. Ideal as a lamp table, occasional table, or statement piece, it brings colour, history, and visual interest to a living room, hallway, study, or conservatory.
