Antique Pair of Regency Mahogany Pedestals from Clonliffe College Seminary

A remarkable pair of antique Regency mahogany pedestals, reputedly formerly from Clonliffe College Seminary, Dublin. Richly figured mahogany veneers, bold architectural lines, and superb carved detailing combine to create an impressive pair of statement pieces showcasing the quality and craftsmanship associated with the Regency period.

Each pedestal features a lift-up top revealing a fitted cutlery compartment, while the cupboard below provides useful concealed storage. The doors are framed by elegant carved columns and flanked by beautifully carved acanthus leaf corbels, all raised on distinctive carved paw feet.
